Dreame has unveiled its new Pet Air Purifier AP10, marking the company’s latest step forward in specialized home-cleaning technology. As part of the company’s Christmas promotion, Dreame has reduced the price of the AP10 from $399.99 to $299.99, marking a 25% discount for holiday shoppers. This comes as a sigh of relief to those struggling with airborne allergens.
The smart home brand, known for its high-performance cleaning solutions like the AirPursue PM20, claims its latest device to be a dedicated air-care system for pet families seeking a cleaner, fresher indoor environment. Designed specifically for households with a cat, a dog, or multiple pets, the Dreame AP10 addresses every issue related to pet ownership, including hair buildup, dander, allergens, and persistent odors.
The AP10 air purifier features a visible unit for collecting hair that can be emptied after use. The amount of hair collected depends on the size of the room and whether pets usually stay near the purifier. Complementing the base is a special pad that sits atop the unit and allows cats to perch. This reminds me of the SwitchBot air purifier table that boasted somewhat similar functionality. Unlike the SwitchBot’s table, the AP10 air purifier doesn’t charge your phone but shuts off automatically if air purifier tips over.
From a technical standpoint, the company claims that “AP10 air purifier refreshes the air in just 7 minutes, ensuring pets and owners breathe clean air quickly.” This is possible courtesy of the “Fast Whole-Room Purification” capability that refreshes indoor air in as little as seven minutes. Despite an array of pet air purifiers available in the market, odor and allergen management have still remained key concerns for many pet owners, and Dreame addresses these with a multi-layer filtration system that is engineered to neutralize smells and capture airborne dander and allergens effectively.
As highlighted in the company’s press release, the filtration system uses five stages to remove 99 percent of odors and bacteria. It includes a cotton filter, a fine dust filter, and two layers of activated carbon. Post that, a UV-C light treatment follows while an ionization module breaks down odors using charged particles. Not to mention, whisker-quiet performance that ensures noise-sensitive pets stay calm and aren’t startled by abrupt sounds from the purifier.
Other features include smart controls via app and voice assistants. This allows pet owners to adjust settings remotely, monitor air quality, and automate purification schedules.
