In the past two years or so, Dreame has been all over the news. But it had less to do with the robot vacuums and air purifiers it produces and more with its expansion into the smart home niche. Nevertheless, Dreame remains very much smart home-oriented, and we couldn’t agree more, as the Chinese smart home robot manufacturer has now launched the Dreame Z30 Pro Aqua, its brand-new cordless vacuum cleaner.
Priced at £549 (roughly $735), the vacuum cleaner is currently available in Europe only, with US and Australian release planned down the line. The Z30 Pro Aqua boasts powerful suction, expert stain removal, and hot air drying as part of its self-cleaning system.
Loosely inspired by the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI robot vacuum, the Z30 Pro Aqua offers both wet and dry cleaning in one device. As highlighted on the company’s Amazon page, the vacuum relies on the AquaCycle 2.0 system to spray water and scrub stains while simultaneously vacuuming up dirt. This is made possible by its innovative two-in-one design, which combines the TangleCut multi-surface brush for dry debris with the AquaCycle 2.0 wet cleaning head for spills and washes, tackling both with absolute ease.
The question is: How does it work? Dreame states in its press release that users need to switch between the two modes. All you have to do is press the release button on the cord, swap the heads over, and you’re ready to go.
The Z30 Pro Aqua’s 150,000 RPM motor delivers an impressive 28,000 Pa of suction, rivaling many standout vacuums on the market today, including the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni and the Eureka J15 Max. It does, however, fall somewhat short in comparison to the Eufy Omni S2 and arch-rival Roborock’s Saros 20, which deliver 30,000 Pa and 35,000 Pa of suction, respectively. Notably, all these are robotic vacs, while Z30 Pro Aqua is a handheld model. Not to mention, the Z30 Pro Aqua covers up to 290 square meters and offers a generous 90-minute runtime on a single charge.
On the filtration front, the cleaner features a five-layer filtration system. Complementing this is a three-zone water management system, similar to that found in the Dyson Wash G1, that keeps clean water, dirty water, and solid debris separated into distinct compartments. This ensures hygienic cleaning throughout without cross-contamination.

The Dreame Z30 Pro Aqua has TangleCut technology in its brush. It uses dual motorized scrapers that cut hair while vacuuming, so pet and human hair doesn’t get tangled or stuck in the brush. Another standout feature of the Dreame Z30 Pro is Aqua’s self-cleaning system. It has a base station that automatically washes and dries the brush roller using 70-degree Celsius hot air. This way, your vacuum-mop is clean and ready for the next use.
The design of the Dreame Z30 Pro Aqua is very versatile. It has a 90-degree foldable rod that helps you reach under furniture and tight spaces, and a 180-degree rotating head for easy cleaning. The Dreame Z30 Pro Aqua is available for purchase on Dreame’s website and on Amazon. There is no word on the US release yet, but we expect it to happen well before IFA 2026.
