Coffee is the first thing that you need in the morning to kickstart your day. But what if you can linger on a bedsheet infused with coffee grounds? No kidding! Australian homeware label Ettitude has actually unleashed their latest coffee-infused bedding collection to redefine the way we sleep.
No, these bedsheets won’t smell like coffee, but they are created by blending the label’s signature bamboo Lyocell fabric with repurposed coffee grounds. Wondering why coffee grounds are used in these bedsheets? Well, coffee has the natural ability to neutralize odors and wicks away sweat up to 50-percent faster than cotton. So, the bedsheets stay fresh for longer and you don’t have to wash them as often.
The coffee yarns are made by S.Cafe, a company specializing in coffee-based materials. They blend the coffee grounds with a base polymer yarn made from recycled plastic drink bottles. It is further woven into Ettitude’s bamboo lyocell to create the fabric that’s so refreshing.
The new bedding collection is sustainable, absorbs odors, and dries faster than any other bedding in the world. This way it saves your time, water, and electricity, as well as, avoids bacterial growth. Isn’t it so impressive for a bedsheet?
Available in four color options: latte, mocha, strawberry frappe and flat white, the bedding will go with any styled bedroom interior. You can pre-order the coffee-infused bedding collection now on Kickstarter. By funding the campaign, backers can enjoy up to 30-percent off the retail price. The basic bedsheet is available for AU$125 or more and the pillowcase starts from AU$30.
