As Halloween approaches, anything that is scary and intimidating qualifies as a relevant home decoration for the spooky night. When we talk of backyards, a fire pit set the mood and keeps everyone engrossed in the grapewine conversation. Moreover, if it is durable and eye-catchy, it becomes a focal point of the landscape. Well, this fire pit by Burned by Design falls right in the category of the spooky and desirable.

Like all times, the renowned fire pit fabricators have designed a stunning fire pit which they call the “Fighting Hornet”. It is commissioned by two brothers, Ross and Dan for their father’s 60th birthday (who happens to be a big-time Watford Football Club fan). The fire pit gets its name from the Football Club’s nickname “The Hornets”.

Fighting Hornet fire pit is made from a gas cylinder and its body is carved from cut off pieces of the Death Star wood burner. The fire pit took six days to complete, and it has a total weight of 60 kg and is 1.2 meters tall.

Keeping with the design aesthetics, Fighting Hornet has a door right where the stinger would be and smoke vents protruding out through the back.

Surely, the Fighting Hornet is going to turn heads during the Halloween week. To make one for your backyard, you can contact the designer right away. By the way, it is going to cost around £1400 – £1500.
