Designed by veteran Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacamo Castiglioni in 1967, the Snoopy lamp is inspired by the famous cartoon character in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. It is one of the undisputed mid-century modern lighting masterpieces from Italian company Flos. This year on fiftieth anniversary of Snoopy table lamp, Flos has created a numbered 1,700 pieces inspired by the very first design of Snoopy lamp currently preserved at the Achille Castiglioni Foundation.

This vintage-style table lamp features a cylindrical base made from precious veined white marble and an embossing matte black snout-shaped reflector to provide lighting downwards. There is a touch-sensitive dimmer switch on the marble base that can be used to turn on/off or adjust the brightness of the lighting source as per the desired mood. There may be thousands of table lamps out there, but having such lighting in your home gives you a feeling of connection with the past.
