Starting out from the US, tiny house movement has come a long way, gradually spreading throughout the world with Europe being no exception. Bruno Thiéry is seemingly handling the French tiny house movement all by himself, he runs a tiny house company called La Tiny House, described as the first tiny house manufacturer in France. Using boat trailers, the carpentry team at La Tiny House makes lightweight tiny houses, weighing under 7,716 lbs to abide with tiny house weight restrictions in France.
The company desires to make tiny houses available to European customers wanting to downsize their lifestyle. Today, they offer three types of tiny house plans, in different sizes. The Tiny Granville features sloping roof and skylight, while the Tiny Stream has a bent roof and the Tiny Appalachian is their biggest model, with an option to include four beds. Each tiny house can have one or more sleeping arrangements, according to the needs of the user.
