Vondom is set to present its new outdoor furniture collection named Fusta at Salone del Mobile 2026. The latest outdoor collection by the brand features teak as the main character, featuring several pieces. Merging mid-century warmth with Scandinavian restraint, the collection fits both residential and contract spaces. Fusta collection is set to unveil, among other pieces, at the design fair.

Designed by Ramon Esteve, the collection is described as a “contemporary reinterpretation of wood” as it specifically focuses on translating the warmth and rhythm of natural materials into a modern, durable language. Through this collection, the designer bridges the gap between industrial precision and the organic soul of natural materials. The collection includes armchairs, sofas, rocking chairs, sun loungers, chairs, and tables.

Moving away from Vondom’s traditional focus on polyethylene, this collection treats solid teak as a modern architectural element. It aims to show that wood can be as sleek and sober as high-tech plastics. The design DNA is a deliberate blend of two major movements: Mid-century design for its organic shapes and human-centric comfort, along with Scandinavian design for its simplicity, functionality, and light visual imprint.

Defined by clean forms and balanced proportions, the pieces of the collection fit into the surroundings organically without looking like an external addition. With the collection, you can create spaces that let you gather and relax. Avoiding sharp angles and opting for rounded, continuous curves, the pieces effortlessly create a welcoming space. The slender legs and open structures prevent the wood from feeling heavy or bulky.

The aesthetic relies on the golden-brown tones with a smooth, matte finish, paired with high-tech outdoor fabrics to provide a high-end look. The wood is worked with hand precision to create the sinuous, flowing lines that define the collection’s organic silhouette.

The collection is intended to invite the warmth of touch that integrates the furniture into nature rather than making it stand out as an artificial piece.
