Having followed Vagabond Haven’s journey from its inception to its rise in the commercial space, I can attest that it’s one of the most affordable tiny house makers you would come across. However, affordability is not the only aspect that makes Vagabond Haven a reliable manufacturer. The Swedish tiny house builder has made a name for itself by creating custom-made, mobile tiny houses that blend functionality with environmental consciousness. Among its impressive lineup is the Honey 216 tiny house on wheels.

Poised on a double-axle trailer, the Honey 216 tiny house measures 12.6 feet long and 8.2 feet wide. The Honey 216, as its name suggests, offers 216 square feet of living space (approximately 20 square meters), making it one of Vagabond Haven’s smaller models. Do not let the small size fool you, as this tiny house is engineered to maximize every inch, providing a cozy and efficient home for individuals, couples, or even small families looking to downsize.

This is possible courtesy of customizable features that allow multiple dwellers to live without feeling cramped. The Honey 216 tiny house features Thermowood Siding on the exterior alongside 2-pane PVC windows that allow light and air to enter. Like all Vagabond Haven creations, the Honey 216 is built with sustainability at its core, using eco-friendly materials that reduce environmental impact without compromising durability or comfort.

The Honey 216 is constructed with environmentally friendly materials, such as responsibly sourced wood and energy-efficient insulation, minimizing its carbon footprint from production to daily use. Optional solar power systems and water-saving features further enhance its off-grid potential, appealing to those who want to have minimum impact on the planet.

The layout typically includes a multi-functional living area that can double as a workspace or main-floor bedroom, a compact kitchenette equipped with essentials like a sink, cooktop, and ample storage, and a small but efficient bathroom, complete with a toilet and shower, rounds out the essentials, ensuring that even in 216 square feet, you have everything you need to live comfortably.

One of Vagabond Haven’s strengths is customization, and the Honey 216 is no exception. Buyers can tailor the house to their preferences, choosing from options like off-grid capabilities (solar panels, composting toilets), insulation levels for year-round living, and furnishings such as built-in shelves or foldable tables.

With its eco-friendly design, customizable features, and ready-to-go convenience, it’s a tiny house that packs a big punch. The Honey 216 tiny house base model is priced at €43,790 (US$ 47,000), but this can vary based on customization.
