Huis Ten Bosch, a Dutch-themed park in Japan, is creating floating sleeping capsules that intend to take the guests to a desert island while they enjoy a comfy sleep at night. Partly immersed in the sea, this floating capsule hotel will be offering several breathtaking views to the visitors as it drifts along to different attractions.
Unlike those boring hotels that remain fixed to just one place, these floating spheres are able to drift during the evening to take the guests to the stunning attractions to be built on the island, once they arrive in the morning. Dubbed the Mizukami Hotel, the two-story sleeping capsule hotel is designed to sleep four people within its 38-square-meters of space that will include beds, showers, and toilets.
To give a unique experience to the guests, Huis Ten Bosch has bought a four-hectare island in Naruma Bay, which is located six kilometers from the ferry port in their replica Dutch town. The floating hotel is expected to open by the end of the year, with two of the bubble-rooms.
The guests would be charged between $US 260 and $US 330 for a night. Another interesting thing about this hotel is that the hospitality staff will have robots to take care of the guests.
