An ideal tiny house is one with a main-floor bedroom, functional kitchen, spacious bathroom, and a gorgeous living room. To accommodate all these features under one dwelling is a challenge, but Style & Grace Homes was apt enough to take up the challenge and design a custom home for its client incorporating all the aforementioned features. The Vancouver-based tiny house firm dubbed the mobile habitat, Industrial Chic Semi tiny house.

The mini home measures 48 feet in length and is built on a recycled semi-dry van trailer. “These trailers are CSA approved Semi Dry Vans and they are built to last with a strong industrial metal frame and double-axle trailer meant to hold up to 45,000 pounds,” mentions the company. The tiny house boasts a steel frame and features exterior walls that are plywood-sided with cedar board and batten. The exterior also comprises a large front foyer that is accoutered with a bench seat and storage closet.

Being 48 feet long, the tiny house feels absolutely luxurious and open. The front foyer welcomes you to the spacious living area that features a banquette offering plenty of storage. The banquette faces a six feet sofa with an upholstered table partitioning the two. The living room is also equipped with a couple of chairs, where you can sit and enjoy the view outside your French doors or binge-watch on the wall-mounted television. Other than the traditional tiny house lighting, Industrial Chic Semi‘s living room also has a light streaming in from the skylight above.

Adjacent is the large galley kitchen that comes furnished with gorgeous live edge epoxy countertops and cabinets offering tons of storage. Not to mention, a large double sink that provides adequate space to keep kitchenware.  It has a beautifully restored 100-year-old barn door leading to the bathroom.

The tiny home also features a spacious bathroom that comprises a 36-inch vanity surrounded by 100-year-old barn boards lovingly restored. The bathroom also includes a bathtub, stackable washer and dryer, toilet, and storage units. Unlike traditional Park Models, the 48ft Industrial Chic Semi tiny house sans loft and rather features just one main-floor bedroom. The bedroom comes outfitted with a wardrobe and even features a skylight for imitation purposes.
