Patricia DiBart, who is a cherished Quirky community member, enlightened the Quirky Design Staff to develop what they call ‘Enfold’. The designer derived a cue from those folks who love to dress nicely but don’t have a good iron and an ironing board. This is what Enfold is all about. It combines iron with an ironing board for those who travel frequently. They’ll really be benefitted from this iron design and also the homemakers can care to get one unit in addition to their home appliances as a backup.
Compactness, portability, and multi-usage are three words that define Enfold in the truest manner. The innovative iron has two arms – one of which functions like an iron and the other one like an ironing board. Maybe the ironing board part looks too small, but the best working part of Enfold is that as it moves, it irons clothes just like you do it with a conventional ironing board and an iron. You can deploy it as a steamer and trivet as well.
