If you are looking for a home office modular desk that is not only functional and roomy but also aesthetically beautiful, then your search for sure has come to an end as K-G home office desk by Normal Projects is something that you might be waiting for. It is a modular office desk with enough storage and display space. The most attracting features of this white oak wood home office desk are the 3D printed sliding doors that conceal the storage elements and also diffuse LED lighting. The sliding doors of the storage system are 3D printed using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) printing method.

These sliding doors are constructed out of laser sintered nylon and a bent steel structure. The clever geometry of the doors gives a smart appearance to the entire storage system. It makes use of a single interwoven surface which increases structural stiffness and reduces the quantity of the material, hence overall cost. The undulating surface of the doors creates a magnificent wavy play of light and also allows integrating handles onto it. There is a hidden sliding mechanism within the door itself which eliminates need for plastic or metal track for a smooth gliding. The modular storage unit with 3D printed doors is available for purchase in multiple configurations from Normal Projects.
