Furniture reissues at Milan Design Week 2026 set a new narrative that honors the craftsmanship, longevity, and heritage of established brands. Famous brands such as Cassina, B&B Italia, Tacchini, Bross, and Louis Vuitton displayed their reissued furniture at the design festival.

Through these reissues, they showcased how the design and functionality of their products remained relevant to this date. Let’s take a closer look at some of the best furniture reissues we saw at the biggest design festival.

Cassina x Karakter Panton Peacock Chair

Cassina collaborated with Karakter to reissue the Panton Peacock Chair, originally designed by Verner Panton in 1960. This iconic chair, known for its beautiful Scandinavian design, received a stainless steel mesh upgrade and seven removable canary yellow circular cushions. The peacock chair functions as both a floor armchair and a rocking chair.

Louis Vuitton Celeste Dressing Table

Designed by renowned cabinetmaker and illustrator Pierre Legrain in 1921, the Celeste dressing table is one of the very first Louis Vuitton furniture. The brand made major improvements to the furniture by replacing its original materials with highly durable lacquered wood and luxurious cowhide leather. The classic Louis Vuitton drawer handles turn this dressing table into a stunning décor piece.

Tacchini Pigreco Chair

Tacchini reissued the Pigreco Chair, designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1959, and gave it a bold chromatic dimension in 2026. Its straight lines and curves flaunt well-proportioned balance, and the lacquered wood finish adds a contemporary touch to its design. The brand added complex structural intersections to its design, while the 11 new lacquered finishes add a silky-smooth surface to the chair.

Bross Italia Break Collection

Bross Italia reissued its 1980s Break Collection, designed by Enzo Berti, and added an elegant decorative vertical stitching with a couture-level detailing to its upholstery, giving a refined touch to its texture. The collection includes a chair, an armchair, and a stool with a curved plywood shell. Breaks are offered in a wide range of metal or wood-covered bases, fixed or on wheels, or with a central column.

B&B Italia Nena Folding Chair

B&B Italia celebrated its 60th anniversary by displaying a reissue of the Nena Folding Chair, designed by Richard Sapper in 1984, as a centerpiece at the design festival. The brand introduced Nena as a foldable hanging chair with minimal thickness that you can hang on the wall or store in the wardrobe.

Visionnaire Bachi Armchair

Vissioanaire reissued the iconic Bachi armchair, designed by Vittorio Varo in 1960, for Milan Design Week 2026 under its Déjà-vu project. They kept its original silhouette intact and upgraded its internal structure and padding to make it enveloping and ergonomic. The overlapping folded cushions appear like a playful sculpture with a shimmering tone.
