Remember Kakadu 2.0 tiny house? The $80K compact dwelling was designed by Victoria-based tiny house firm Iconic Tiny Homes. To my bad, I introduced you to the iteration first, rather than the original model, which is the Kakadu tiny house on wheels. I intend to amend that mistake today and give you a good glimpse of the $90K micro-dwelling that became so popular that Iconic Tiny Homes went on to release its iteration.

Measuring 20 feet long, the Kakadu tiny house is half the size of tiny homes made in Florida. But, despite its petite size, the micro dwelling features a capacious interior that sleeps three people comfortably. This is possible courtesy of their 7.8 feet width that accommodates a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a loft bedroom inside. On top of that, Kakadu is a great choice for a guest house. So, if you don’t plan to live in it permanently, you can put it on rental.

Coming to core features, the tiny house boasts colorbond steel bond exterior cladding, while oak timber laminate flooring and ‘Easycraft EasyVJ MDF Lining’ comprise the interior. An Aluminium low E-glass door welcomes you inside the home, where you are graced by a cozy interior space. The interior is flooded with natural light, courtesy of windows with fly screens, which further allows you to gaze at the nearby surroundings.

As aforementioned, the interior space comprises a living room that turns into a bedroom. It features a sofa that transforms into a daybed and sleeps one person comfortably. Above the living room lies the loft bedroom of the house. Accessible via a storage-integrated staircase, the bedroom sleeps two people with ease, in addition to storing minute essentials.

Downstairs is the kitchen of the tiny home. It is the most spacious area in the Kakadu tiny house and consists of a breakfast bar with a bi-fold window, an American oak timber countertop, and white cabinetry. The kitchen features a range of appliances and accessories, ranging from two burner induction hot plate and standard chrome tapware to a Bosch electric oven and refrigerator.

On the opposite end of the bedroom is the bathroom of the tiny house. It is equipped with a full-size walk-in shower, wall-hung vanity, back to wall toilet suite. If required you can even add an optional deck trailer to maximize outdoor living. Priced at 90K, the tiny house is available on the official website for purchase.
