Shaye’s Lara tiny house is a light-filled dwelling with a dedicated loft area for hosting your playful evenings. Designed by the New Zealand-based tiny house builder Shaye’s Tiny Homes, this tiny house on wheels boasts two bedrooms (one ground floor and one loft), a luxurious bathroom, a compact kitchen, and a spacious living room.

The light-filled tiny house uses glass and wood generously to enhance space. Access to the gorgeous interiors can be made through four entry points, the central one being a four-panel sliding glass door. One end of the house accommodates a comfortable living room with a relaxing three-seater lounger.

Although much of the wall space is covered with huge windows, there is still plenty of space opposite the sofa for a wall-mounted television. A sliding glass door encompasses the end of the house here, pouring in outside views, natural light, and fresh air.

Thanks to the open layout, the living area seamlessly transitions into the adjacent kitchen. The well-functioning compact kitchen is decked with basics like a gas oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and pantry. Adding an edge to it is the clever nook dedicated to microwave or toaster. Playing upon space, the house provides additional storage for your kitchen requirements too.

Next to it, a staircase under two skylights leads to the loft, which is perfect to be used as an intimate entertainment zone, a bedroom, or a storage section. Underneath the loft, the main-floor bedroom and bathroom are located.

The Lara tiny house features a tiled bathroom with a full-sized shower, LED spotlights, a porcelain toilet, and a vanity. Past the bathroom, the ground-floor bedroom has ample space for a queen-size bed. There is hidden storage underneath the bed and a full-height wardrobe opposite it.

Priced at $131,000, the Lara tiny house is perfect for couples, singles, and even retired people. Needless to say, this tiny house is an affordable and family-friendly dwelling.
