Measuring 18 feet long, the Lehua tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer. Nestled in the mountains of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, this solar-powered tiny house is a perfect getaway for those who enjoy being around nature and love falling asleep to the sounds of birds. The house has two loft bedrooms and one sofa bed to sleep up to five people. An outdoor dining place and firepit add to its welcoming profile.

The Lehua tiny house has a stunning exterior. A beautiful deck is built around the house to extend the living space and has plants and string lights. There is a seating arrangement with a huge umbrella offering shade on summer days.

As you go indoors you find yourself standing in a minimalistic open-floor plan. Plenty of windows bring in natural light and the use of natural wood creates a clean aesthetic. The interior is clad with a living room, a kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom, and two loft bedrooms.

The living room has an L-shaped pull-out sofa bed. It turns into an additional bed and can sleep up to two people with a few maneuvers. A drop-down television from the loft ceiling over the kitchen provides a perfect viewing angle from the living room.

On the other side, there is a galley with a lot of counter space on both sides. The kitchen is accoutered with a butcher block countertop, a cooktop, a sink, a range hood, an oven, a mini fridge, and cabinets to store various kitchen items.

It has all the fundamental requirements and comes with additional storage space. An AC unit is concealed in one of the cabinets that keeps the interior nice and breezy on hot days. There is also a dining area with a bar seat and foldable table to enjoy your meals in comfort.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a bathroom behind a pocket door. It has a sink, a compost toilet, and a shower area. There are two loft bedrooms. The loft above the living area is accessed via a wooden ladder, which can be hooked above the living room ceiling when not in use. This loft is a well-lit and cozy space with a single bed.

The second loft can be reached via stairs. It is a bright and intimate space, comfortable for two people to sleep. The Lehua tiny house also offers other amenities including Wi-Fi, TV, and a washer/dryer. The house is also powered by solar panels and has a compost toilet to minimize dependency on the grid. It is available for rent on Airbnb for $192.
