CES 2023 is to be held between January 5 and 8. Like every year, you can expect brands – big and small – to showcase their newest or most popular products at the mega event. LG Electronics (LG) is one of them. The South Korean company has made several early announcements including its 2023 soundbar lineup, expected to be showcased at the international tech event.

LG says both the SC9 and SE6 models are designed for seamless integration with the 2023 TV lineup. These soundbars can connect wirelessly to LG TVs thanks to the WOWCAST feature. LG describes the fusion of soundbars and TVs as a ‘multi-surround sound solution.’

As per the press release, the built-in WOW Orchestra technology “utilizes the products’ audio channels to create an expanded soundstage with improved height, depth, and power.” This way, you can manage the soundbar’s settings and share sound modes using an intuitive interface on the LG TV Home Dashboard.

For an immersive listening experience, each of the soundbars supports Dolby Atmos and IMAX enhanced quality powered by DTS:X. LG claims to provide a home cinema experience with Triple Sound Technology that includes a Triple Up-Firing Speaker. In addition, the Triple Sound Optimizer boosts performance while the Smart Up-mixer converts two-channel audio into multi-channel surround sound.

LG 2023 soundbars also use enhanced AI Room Calibration that automatically adjusts the soundbars’ settings to the given circumstance of the room. Furthermore, the advanced AI Sound Pro feature chooses the most appropriate settings according to the type of content being played.

LG’s new soundbars are compatible with a wide range of services, devices, and connectivity features. The company informs that the soundbars can elevate the console gaming experience with VRR support that reduces screen tearing, and ALLM that eliminates lag while also permitting 4K/120Hz pass-through.

LG new soundbars are designed to go with the minimalist look of LG’s latest TVs and fit in with different home décor styles. One more thing revealed about the design is the compact form factor of the SE6 soundbar which makes it ideal for smaller spaces.

You can expect more details about the soundbars when they are showcased at the CES. LG is also presenting its new wall-mounted air conditioner that doubles as an art screen and maybe a QD-OLED TV.
