If you have never seriously considered the tiny house lifestyle, opting for a mobile tiny home over a conventional large house might seem unusual. Most people remain unaware of the real advantages tiny houses offer compared to traditional homes and therefore never seriously entertain the idea. That said, the newest model, Liberty Peak tiny house, from Idaho-based Tiny Idahomes, clearly demonstrates the compelling upsides of tiny house living, chiefly greater financial freedom, a substantially smaller environmental impact, and the opportunity for a more purposeful, minimalist way of life.

The tiny house on wheels measures 32 feet long, 10 feet wide, and is mounted on a quad-axle trailer. This is quite surprising considering that mobile homes of such size typically require only three axles to move the entire unit. However, the fourth axle is generally better suited for heavy-haul applications, as it increases stability while reducing road wear on the remaining axles.

The exterior of Liberty Peak features Hardie Board siding in Valspar’s Tomcat finish, accented by natural cedar trim and topped with a durable black standing-seam metal roof suited to demanding climates like the Pacific Northwest. A full-light black entry door and black vinyl double-pane windows further enhance natural light and energy efficiency.

Inside, the home delivers an open, airy feel and features spray foam insulation (R-21 walls, R-30 ceiling), Mississippi River vinyl plank flooring, Polar White walls, and a walnut-stained tongue-and-groove ceiling. Not to mention, craftsman-style trim that adds a refined architectural detail, tying the interior together.

The layout prioritizes privacy and functionality, with a front private bedroom featuring a queen platform bed, side tables, upper cabinets, and a sliding barn door entry. Opposite the bedroom sits the living room, which comes equipped with a sofa and additional furnishings and is open for customization.

As is the case in any home, the kitchen is the heart of Liberty Peak as well. The kitchen stands out with custom flat European-style cabinets in Vanilla Orchid, bold Staron Igneous countertops, a copper undermount sink with an oil-rubbed bronze spring faucet, a full-height copper subway tile backsplash, and a cohesive GE black appliance package that includes an oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

Rounding out the floor plan is a full residential bathroom, which includes a 60-inch bathtub with a Carrara marble surround, a vessel sink set on a Staron vanity, an LED lighted mirror, a Splendide vented washer/dryer combo, and ample storage via a dedicated closet and shelving.

The Liberty Peak tiny house targets those seeking intentional downsizing and reduced overhead in a compact yet high-end home. The model is now available for purchase through Tiny Idahomes. The company has priced the featured spec model at $112,507.
