Market Square Tower is an exceptional luxury hotel in Houston that offers high living standards and is better known for sleek silhouette of the architecture, as well as for spacious and fully furnished apartments. Last week, the hotel introduced its see-through rooftop swimming pool that floats 500-feet above the Preston streets. Built on the 40th story of the building, this sky pool has been designed with optimal safety.
So if you ever wished to see streets of a city from a high point, then it is an ideal choice. But mind you it will set you back for a bigger money. As seen in its viral video, as soon as the man walks to the end of the pool, he looks like holding himself back because it’s a frightening experience to take dip in such hovering pools.
This glass suspended pool expands 10-feet over the side of the building, and as users move to the edge it feels like you are flying in the mid-air. There is a crystal-clear glass wall bordering the pool on each protruding side to keep it safe for users. Its glass bottom is made of acrylic plastic with waterproof concrete and epoxy-coated rebar that helps keeping it stable in all weather conditions. It is only a flash of amenities offered by the hotel, as this unusual hotel is full of comfort, luxury and fun.
International firm Walter P Moore has collaborated with a team of aquarium specialists at Reynolds Polymer to bring this project to reality. If you want to experience it in real, you have to be a resident of the hotel. So book a one-bedroom apartment which costs around $2,100 per month.
