Baluchon has earned a reputation of being one of the best tiny house builders not just in Europe, but all over the globe. The French-based tiny house maker has left us impressed with creations like Chicorée and Rhapsodie and is all set to dazzle again with its brand new tiny house dubbed Miss. Twain.

It sounds like a weird name for a tiny house but the client named Cécile wanted to dub her house in reference to her favorite author Mark Twain who penned her childhood favorite ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.’ Measuring 20 feet in length, the tiny house is packed with a number of amenities and sleeps four-to-five people with ease.

The biggest USP of the tiny house is its large porch which sets Miss. Twain apart from other tiny homes by the maker. It is a cozy and comfortable place where one can read a book and relax without worrying about the setbacks life gives you. The mobile home’s porch features a chestnut wood balustrade (railing) that limits the risk of falling and also prevents animals from intruding into the porch area (unless they decide to jump in).

The tiny house is built on a dual-axle trailer and is finished in red cedar cladding with aluminum accenting. Upon entering inside, you are graced by a convertible sofa bed in the living room which provides sleeping accommodation for two people. Adjacent is the wood stove that will warm the space during the winter days. We can also spot a removable ladder nearby that provides access to the mezzanine/loft.

Speaking of the loft, it can sleep two people other than housing nitty-gritty essentials nearby. The loft features three windows to allow fresh air inside and keep the room light-filled.

Moving downstairs, the spacious kitchen of Miss. Twain tiny house is equipped with a folding oak table. Facing the oak table is the countertop, underneath which lies various cabinets to store utensils and cooking essentials.

Other than the comfortable work surface, the kitchen is also accoutered with all the necessary equipment required for a comfortable stay. Nearby is the bathroom, which includes a dry toilet and a shower to cater to your hygiene. Needless to say, Miss. Twain tiny house is a gorgeous dwelling for a small family.
