There are two kinds of people in this world when it comes to tiny houses: those who jump headfirst into the lifestyle, and those who need to test the waters first. If you are the latter kind, Airbnb offers plenty of tiny houses to explore the pros and cons of downsizing living without full commitment. A case in point is the two-bedroom elevated tiny house in Missouri.

This is a custom-built luxury treehouse-style vacation rental that flaunts floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing in a myriad of surrounding views and natural light. The elevated tiny house is located at Indian Point in Branson, Missouri, and offers stunning views of Table Rock Lake.

This Airbnb tiny house is constructed on stilts to minimize impact on the surrounding forest. Perched 20 feet above the ground, the treehouse offers sweeping views from the outdoor deck and from the inside of the lodging.

Offering 680 square feet, the luxury treehouse comes equipped with tall ceilings, an expansive living area with a fireplace, dining area, kitchenette, ground-floor bedroom, loft bedroom, and bathroom. Flaunting a contemporary interior, the two-story tiny house is an ideal blend of peaceful nature and modern style. It lets you taste the benefits of tiny houses without making a full commitment, and decide whether the lifestyle appeals to you or not.

The spacious deck has a barbecue grill, dining setup for four, and a gas fire pit to keep you engaged outdoors during the stay. The gated property even has a Tesla charger, should you need it.

The modern kitchenette has quartz counters, an integrated cooktop, a refrigerator, a range hood, and a microwave if you wish to cook. The living area and dining area is setup next to the 20-foot floor-to-ceiling glass windows, bringing in the lake views.

A sweeping staircase leads to the loft bedroom, where you’ll find a queen-size bed, a workspace, and a cozy reading nook with books. The second bedroom is part of the open-floor plan on the first level. It sits behind the staircase, offering little to no privacy.

The adjacent bathroom comes equipped with a washer/dryer hookup, perfect for prolonged stays. It also features a spa-style bath with heated tile floors, Italian marble, and a rainfall shower.

If you are looking for a quaint getaway in Missouri, this elevated tiny house is your answer. You can rent the treehouse-style property for $850 for two nights. It is also perfect for a small family vacation. So give it a try and let us know.
