I’ve seen record players that are minimalist masterpieces, as well as vintage models that evoke a bygone elegance; this new turntable is an amalgamation of the two. The MoFi Electronics x Fender American Vintage Turntable is a limited-edition “piece of Fender history reimagined for vinyl’s modern revival.”
As evident by the name, the turntable was born from a collaboration between two American icons: an esteemed hi-fi audio brand and a decorated guitar maker. When I first spotted it on ecoustics, the turntable immediately drew my attention, thanks to the solid alder wood body it flaunted. This design nuance holds significance because the same material was used in Fender’s iconic Stratocaster. Akin to the legendary guitar model, the turntable is also finished in a satin two-tone tobacco sunburst. “Its sleek silhouette and rich finish pay homage to rock ’n’ roll’s visual heritage, bringing a gallery-worthy presence to any listening space,” MoFi Electronics states.
The three-color sunburst alder wood plinth not only looks gorgeous but also provides excellent resonance control. As per the company, “Each unit is hand-sprayed at Fender’s California shop, using the same urethane finish coveted by guitar collectors for its durability and ability to age gracefully, developing a patina that adds character over time,” MoFi adds.
The turntable, however, isn’t restricted to aesthetics only. Beneath its striking exterior, the Fender American Vintage Turntable boasts some high-end tech features. This includes a 6.8 lb. Delrin platter that minimizes resonance and provides a stable, inert base for playback, delivering deep-black sonic backgrounds and a remarkably low noise floor.
The platter comes paired with a 10-inch Ultra tonearm. “Custom-developed and manufactured in the U.S.A., the tonearm uses smooth, high-quality ball bearings for low friction in the vertical and horizontal plane so all you hear is what is in the LP grooves,” the company informs.
Hat Tip to Gear Patrol that notes the operations spectrum of the turntable featuring Cardas Audio wiring and gold-plated RCA connectors that ensure signal purity from the groove to your speakers. Then we have the height-adjustable isolation feet, designed by Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS), which further ensure that external vibrations don’t interfere with your listening experience, keeping the sound clean even in less-than-ideal environments.
For ease of use, the turntable features an electronic speed control that lets you switch between 33.3 and 45 RPM with a single button. An illuminated power switch adds a touch of modern convenience, making this deck as approachable for casual listeners as it is for hardcore vinyl enthusiasts.

The Fender American Vintage Turntable is available in three configurations to suit different budgets and preferences, all shipping in June 2025. Retailing for $2,995, $3,495, and $3,995, the Fender American Vintage Turntable isn’t a casual purchase, but it’s a worthy investment for those who value both sound and style. On a little downside, there is no cartridge included in the $2,995 package, so you would have to purchase one on your own.
