A good portable coffee maker has two key aspects: versatility of use and lightweight aesthetics. Scoring high on both these parameters, Mokka to go is designed for people who spend a good chunk of their life on the go. The compact, lightweight stovetop espresso maker brews hot and cold coffee anytime, anywhere. It has a maximum functional weight of 308 grams and measures 7.5×7.9×17.2 cm, making it a perfect coffee maker that sleekly fits in your backpack and doesn’t hinder space or weight.

You no longer need to carry heavy coffee makers or traditional moka pots with space-occupying designs that can damage the fabric of the bag or rucksack they are carried in. A modern evolution of the classic stovetop espresso maker, Mokka to go offers a modular, compact, and lightweight design for great portability. The adventure-proof coffee maker can brew hot and cold coffee to keep you refreshed during your outdoor excursions.

Mokka to go has a slender flask-like design, making it easier to fit it in the side pocket of a backpack or secure on the standard bicycle bottle cage. The pot comes with an ergonomic detachable silicone ring and spoutless design, making pouring easier sans any accidental spills. It has a circular lip that guarantees a smooth, mess-free pour from any angle to make the process seamless and hassle-free.

The moka pot is built from high-quality aluminum, offering a corrosion-resistant coffee maker that you can employ anytime for making rich coffee. The workings of the coffee maker are similar to a typical moka pot for the hot brew. For cold brew, the maker recommends to “remove the b-rod from the basket; put the drip-ring on top of the boiler and put the basket in.” After filling the pot with coffee grounds and water, turn the c-rod five degrees or more counterclockwise to let it drip slowly for a rich cold brew.

The project is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, where you can back it for CHF 96 (roughly $110) for one Mokka to go. Optional accessories can also be had but for additional pricing. It is truly the ultimate moka pot for adventurers who love a dose of caffeine on their explorations.
