Texas-based builder Recreational Resort Cottages and Cabins has a beautiful lineup of tiny house park models. The Nightingale Tiny House is a proud member of this fleet and offers accommodations for a small family in one stunning package. It is difficult to believe that this tiny house on a foundation has only 399 square feet of interior, given the breezy and open spaces it offers. The Nightingale features a cantilevered porch – perhaps the center of focus – rock and wood accents, and modern amenities that leave nothing undesired.

Measuring 42-foot-long and 11-foot-wide, the Nightingale tiny house is a wonder of expansive interior. It has a master bedroom, a large living room, a spa-style bathroom, and a gourmet kitchen. The living space is further extended by the porch, allowing the residents to enjoy the surrounding view while sipping on the evening tea.

The exterior of the micro-dwelling is clad in custom shadow gap cedar accents, customized rock accents, and a roofline that has alternating mono-slopes, making it a unique feature. The sliding front glass doors open into the white-washed interior, dotted with matte black and gold accents.

The living room is the first space you notice. It is outfitted with a black large couch, which can convert into a bed for additional accommodation, a wall-mounted television, a side table, and an electric fireplace, making it the perfect entertainment zone. Each element of the open-plan room is dressed in either white, black, or gold colors, which create an artistic charm.

Next is the kitchen. This space is also dotted in the same color palette as the living room. It features locally sourced quartz countertops, black cabinets, a four-burner induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, sink, microwave, ventilation hood, and dining space for two. The refrigerator is tucked in the hall down from the kitchen.

The bathroom is accessible via this hallway and carries the color theme beautifully. The spa-style bathroom has a custom-tile shower cabin, a black vanity with a sink, a standard toilet, and a cabinet. Outside the bathroom, a big black closet is placed.

The bedroom is past the hall, at the rear end of the house. It can fit a queen-size bed and has a huge closet with barn doors. It even has an on-suite laundry, which is an oddity even for tiny houses.

Priced at $107,000 including delivery and setup within 100 miles of Athens, Texas, the Nightingale tiny house is a beautiful micro-dwelling. It can be your dream home if you wish to downsize.

We would like to build or buy a tiny home in about the next two year range. We have a home to sell, and we need to determine where we want to buy a small piece of property.
