Nothing beats the pleasure of living in an old-school tiny house. The smell of fresh wood, the scent of nature, and giant windows allowing sunlight inside are aphrodisiacal. However, modern-day tiny homemakers are drifting towards building bigger homes contrary to micro-dwellings, which have killed the essence of what a tiny home should look and feel like. Kansas-based tiny house maker Kaiser Tiny Homes is one of the very few manufacturers still building mobile habitats that don’t exceed 26 feet in length. One of the company’s builds that we will be discussing today is the St. Augustine tiny house.

Measuring 20 feet long and 8.5 feet wide, the St. Augustine is a classic old-school tiny house with compact dimensions and a simple layout. Priced at $43,000, the tiny home boasts an exterior akin to the Georgia tiny house on wheels, the company’s previous build. Similar to the Georgia tiny home, the St. Augustine tiny house boasts a light and bright exterior with light wood accents on the inside.

“This charming and efficient coastal-themed tiny house is a dream come true,” states the maker while providing a brief about the micro-dwelling. The tiny home comes finished in LP Vertical Smart Siding that ensures durability and a modern look, while the double-axle trailer adds a mobile factor to the home. Upon entering, one is greeted by a compact living room that features shelves to house decorative essentials.

The main floor offers a versatile day bed that sleeps two in its cozy and compact space. It also boasts an entertainment center, rigged with a shelf and a TV. The tiny home also features a storage loft. Stationed above the bedroom, it provides additional storage space for your gear and daily essentials.

Nearby is a full kitchen that is outfitted with modern-day appliances like a cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave, all black, hence contrasting the stylish light blue cabinetry. Not to mention, the luxury vinyl plank flooring runs throughout, providing both elegance and easy maintenance.

Elsewhere is the bathroom of the St. Augustine tiny home. Featuring a toilet, shower, vanity with sink, and washer/dryer combo for added convenience, the bathroom is aesthetic and functional. Overall, the meticulously designed tiny home is a perfect blend of modern living and cozy comfort.
