I was having a conversation with the proficient German designer and a good friend Deniz Aktay just yesterday. He is on a vacation in the Middle East, but I am sure he will be thinking about his next project. Deniz stamped his image as a conceptual designer in public eyes after his sculptural ‘Bookgroove‘ side table went viral. Since then, he has been on a roll and introduced many other projects.

The conceptual designer’s recent project is as intriguing as the Bookgroove table, although not meant for storage purposes. Dubbed ‘Orbit’ coffee table, the conceptual furniture would essentially function as a centerpiece and add aesthetics to your living room. The circular design of the table ditches the traditional perception of rectangular coffee table design.

Inspired by the orbit of planets around the Sun, this gorgeous design features three oscillating metal tubes supporting the glass tabletop. The major attraction of the coffee table is the multicolored and interloping metal tube legs. The German designer has added three different colors to the metal tubes to distinguish the construction elements. Its clear glass tabletop reflects the beauty of the vibrant metal legs.

Deniz, in an interview with Homecrux, emphasized being inspired by painting and sculpting. Staying true to his words, he has blended the color aspect smoothly with the Orbit coffee table.
