Often labeled as the world’s best treehouse builder, Pete Nelson has been realizing people’s dream of highrise living for the last several years. Lately, the American treehouse builder has again been commissioned by Ayres to build eight new mountain-view treehouses at Treehouse Grove in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. With new additions on the forested hill, the resort has now a total of 16 treehouse rentals.

For the new project, Pete Nelson and his team at Nelson Treehouse & Supply have built large luxury treehouses that are suitable for bigger families and even their furry companions. These elevated cabins have bigger bedrooms, larger living spaces, screened porches, and community spaces.

Every treehouse cabin has queen-sized bedrooms, lofts, and pull-out sofas that sleep 6-10 people. These treetop cabins are appropriate for a family or cozy enough for a couple.

There are spacious bathrooms with rainfall showerheads for a spa-like experience in each treehouse. The Cottonwood treehouse even has an outdoor shower while there is also an ADA-accessible treehouse that allows people with disabilities to safely experience the life high above on the trees.

The treehouses also have kitchenettes with all the necessary things required for cooking for the whole family. One feature we would like to mention is the screened porches that can be used for dining or as a workspace with the mountains in the backdrop.

Most of the things you will need on vacation including Wi-Fi, TV, AC, heating, fridge, etc. are there so that guests never have to think about leaving the luxury treetop retreat. The main idea behind building these luxury treehouses is to provide guests with a secluded, private space where they can enjoy mountain views in peace and even interact with other guests.

These treehouses are built using Heavy Limb Hardware. The carpenters have allowed trees and branches in between the treehouses for authenticity and these “details make us the Treehouse Masters”, the Nelson Treehouse & Supply team informs.
