LG continues with its fascination with floor lamps this year. After revealing the indoor gardening station-lamp hybrid, the South Korean tech giant has announced another floor lamp design. Dubbed PF600U, the three-in-one gadget boasts the functionality of a projector, ambient lighting, and Bluetooth speaker in one nifty design. The new model is scheduled for presentation at CES 2025.

Looking at its three-tier functionality, it might remind you of the XGIMI magic lamp which has the functionality of three devices in one. The XGIMI device was a ceiling lamp, in contrast to LG’s PF600U which has a floor lamp design.

This multifunctional device allows users to customize their room’s ambiance for any occasion. Whether you want to have a private cinema experience or set the mood for a music session, PF600U does it all.

On the design side, the PF600U mimics the shape of a floor lamp with a pole stand, ensuring both intuitive usability and integration into various environments. Weighing 7.5 kg (16.5 lbs), it isn’t a portable option but it can certainly transform your living room into a private theatre. This is possible courtesy of a 110-degree tilting head and auto screen adjustment that supports a wide range of activities, from solo movie nights to immersive music sessions with friends.

From a technical standpoint, the PF600U provides 300 ANSI lumens of brightness and delivers full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. It supports seamless streaming through LG’s webOS, offering access to popular OTT platforms.

In addition to its projection features, PF600U features a couple of passive radiators. These drone cones help the projector deliver rich and immersive sound, while the LED mood lamp enhances ambiance with nine colors and five brightness levels.

“With the PF600U’s 3-in-1 versatility, LG is setting a new standard for lifestyle projectors that cater to diverse spaces and user needs,” said YS Lee, Vice President and Head of the IT Business Unit at LG Media Entertainment Solutions. There is no word on the price and availability of the projector and more information is expected to be revealed during CES 2025.
