Inspired by the diverse vegetation in California, the Plantillo pillows look realistic but are actually images printed on a cotton canvas. For each piece, Sabine prints photographs on fabric, traces the shape, sews the corners together, and then stuffs the pillows by hand. She says, ‘the irregular shape of pillows make them look three-dimensional and so amazing’.
