While other power bank manufacturers focus solely on increasing battery capacity and slimming their devices, JOYROOM PODIX PR70 presents a different but functional approach. Styled after a portable speaker, the power bank comes with two onboard displays for convenience, complemented by dual built-in USB-C cables, including a 70 cm retractable USB-C cable and a 32 cm carry-strap USB-C cable that also doubles as a carrying strap. With its massive 25,000mAh airline-safe battery backup and total output of 240W, the power bank is launching on Kickstarter for a super early bird offer of $79 starting July 14.
PODIX PR70, with its user-centric design, puts fast, smart charging alongside the convenience of portability and full visible control at your fingertips. Whether you’re charging your laptop at your desk or keeping your drone, camera, and other gear powered at a campsite, the power bank delivers a visual and comfortable charging experience wherever you are.
240W Power Bank With Two Displays
JOYROOM “strives to redefine how people power their devices in a rapidly evolving digital world.” To that accord, the 240W PODIX PR70, by virtue of its design, is ideal for work, travel, and everyday multi-device use. It features dual TFT displays onboard to see the key information in both portrait and landscape orientations. “Ability to use it in both portrait and landscape modes makes charging feel more natural and stable across desk setups and on-the-go scenarios,” the company explains.
A display on the power bank is not a new idea. But JOYROOM is not sticking to one; it has two displays on its new power bank. The main screen is a 2-inch TFT, and the side screen measures 1.43 inches. The idea of having these screens is simple: to ensure the charging and remaining battery status are always visible. This helps provide the user with real-time status monitoring and a clear track of input/output status without having to move the device around, as is the case with single-display power banks.
According to JOYROOM, the two displays are designed to show different charging data. The front display presents core information, such as battery level, remaining time, real-time power, temperature, battery health, and charging details for the two built-in cables. The side display focuses on total power and per-port charging details, making key information easier to read from different angles.
With built-in displays, the power bank rethinks how charging is perceived. But that is not the only strong point. The PODIX PR70 is also designed to deliver strong power for multiple devices. With two built-in USB-C cables (max 70 cm long) and a combined power of 240W, the power bank can charge “two laptops simultaneously at 140W + 100W,” the company informs, while saving the “hassle of carrying extra accessories,” especially during travel or when commuting.
Portable Power Bank Different From the Crowd
With two USB-C cables, one USB-A, and an additional USB-C (for using separate cables), the power bank can easily charge up to 4 devices at once. It can juice up power-guzzling laptops and low-power devices, such as earbuds or wearables, with equal convenience.
It may look like a portable Bluetooth speaker in structure and appearance, but the JOYROOM power bank is pretty handy, measuring 159.9 x 49.2 x 56.6 mm. Tipping the scales at 622 g, it may appear on the heavier side, but it should be easy to pack in the backpack or your carry-on luggage. For the latter, it is designed to be airline-safe, while its 25,000mAh backup is sufficient for a full day of backup even if you’re charging more than a couple of devices. The power bank is also compliant with CCC, CE, FCC, and RoHS global standards for electronic products.
PODIX PR70 power bank will be shipped with a storage pouch in certain countries (specifics remain unconfirmed) starting September 2026. You can grab a special 47% discount now on a preorder of $79. After launch, the power bank will retail for a slightly steeper price of $149.
