Colorado-based Redtail Overland has introduced a fully hard-sided rooftop camper that will surely impress modern nomads who like an elevated camping experience. Made from lightweight carbon fiber, the rooftop tent is packed with different types of modern amenities including a fully electronic system, solar panels, charging facilities, heater, fan, etc.

The basic structure is lightweight, which makes it possible to integrate all the amenities while also minimizing the overall weight. With an innovative push-button hinge and latching system, the camper can be opened very easily with just one hand. The exterior lighting, solar panels, clear dual pane windows, and the gear mounting system make up the look on the outside.

The carbon fiber Redtail RTC is designed for mid-size SUVs and all other higher models. It provides secure accommodation as the doors and windows can be locked from inside or out. On the other hand, the person sleeping inside is protected from elements with insulated interior and upholstered walls of the structure. There is also a system of screens and shades guards for protection against bugs and to enhance privacy.

The Redtail RTC four-season rooftop camper comes with a plush foam mattress for optimal comfort during sleep. The interior lighting is dimmable while there are USB and power outlets to charge devices indoors. As an additional feature; the rooftop camper has a built-in floor hatch for direct access to the vehicle if there is a sunroof.

All these features make the RTC rooftop camper highly stylish, practical, and functional. Available in two sizes, the basic RTC would cost $20,000. It is up for pre-order on Redtail Overland with delivery expected in October 2020.
