Vermont is the perfect place to witness the gorgeousness of fall foliage. Along with vast expanses of beautifully colored leaves beginning in October, the state also offers numerous Airbnb rentals to stay in while enjoying the natural beauty all around. The Riverbed Treehouse in Londonderry, Vermont, is one such tiny house rental that offers panoramic views in the foothills of Stratton Mountain.

Located along a babbling brook that turns into a raging river in the spring, the Riverbed treehouse has a whimsical interior featuring a cozy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a compact kitchen, and separate bath area, a hot tub on the terrace, multiple balconies, and a sauna and swing bed on the ground level. The tiny house is surrounded by 100 acres of woods to explore and enjoy the changing colors of mighty nature.

Built on thick wooden slits, the tiny house has a small cabin on the ground floor that acts as a cozy sauna. On the other side, a swing bed is located. Next to the private sauna, a spiral staircase leads to the main treehouse area.

The front door of the rental is on a balcony-like landing and opens into the compact kitchen which comes with living room-style seating. The kitchen allows the guests to whip up their own meals thanks to modern amenities, including a microwave, four-burner cooktop, oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, hidden refrigerator, plenty of countertops, and coffee bar. An L-shaped seating is installed on one side to provide space to sit and talk while the food is being cooked.

Flanking the kitchen are two narrow hallways that lead to the bedroom. One of the hallways tucks away a big tiled shower space, while the other one hides a toilet behind bi-fold doors.

The bedroom is probably one of the coolest parts of the house. Designed with a whimsical flair, the bedroom has stained glass windows right behind the headboard, along with a couple of lanterns. There are numerous windows to keep the room well-lit and well-ventilated. The bedroom has a fireplace in one corner and a clawfoot bathtub on the other, next to a concrete sink.

From the bedroom, French doors open onto the deck that features seating space, a hot tub, and an outdoor shower. Another small door leads to the balconies of the house.

The Riverbed Treehouse can be rented on Airbnb for $351 per night. If you want to enjoy a cozy weekend snuggled up with fall foliage, this is the place to be.
