CES 2026 has been filled with major announcements. From high-end TV’s and cutting-edge projectors to flying vacuum cleaners and stair-climbing robots, it is turning out to be quite a show so far. In the quieter niche of robotic lawn mowers, several major brands, including Litheli, Sunseeker, Mammotion, and ANTHBOT, displayed their latest models. However, the standout for us was Roborock’s growing lineup of robot mowers, which the company is now preparing to introduce to the US market in 2026. The lineup includes RockMow X1, X1 LiDAR, and RockNeo Q1. We’ll get to each lawn mower below.

Unveiled at CES 2026, the RockMow X1 LiDAR is slated for US release later this year. It features fully autonomous navigation, all-wheel drive, and advanced 360-degree 3D mapping through a combination of LiDAR and Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM). Building on the previous RockMow Z1, the RockMow X1 series offers enhanced obstacle handling, including the ability to climb over barriers up to 3.1 inches high and tackle slopes as steep as 39 degrees. According to Roborock, the X1 LiDAR can mow up to about half an acre (around 2,000 m²) per day.

The lineup includes two main variants in the RockMow X1 series. The standard RockMow X1 relies on four cameras for navigation and full-band RTK for precise positioning. The premium RockMow X1 LiDAR features a 360-degree LiDAR sensor coupled with two cameras to capture up to 200,000 data points per second and detect objects as far as 230 feet away. Both models support 4G LTE connectivity, geofencing tied to your property boundaries or even a specific zip code, and future OTA updates for AI-powered automatic boundary mapping.

Both the lawn mowers also come with an anti-theft alarm that triggers if the mower is lifted or moved beyond the set fence height. IPX6-rated, the mowers can withstand puddles, mud, and post-use washing, and feature rain sensors that automatically return them to their charging station. The standard RockMow X1 handles up to about three-fourths of an acre (3,000 m²) in 24 hours, while the LiDAR version covers up to half an acre (2,000 m²).

Besides RockMow X1 and X1 LiDAR, Roborock has also introduced RockNeo Q1. This entry-level model focuses on three key aspects, including dual-vision cameras, full-band RTK + VSLAM mapping, and precise cutting down to 1-inch grass heights. It lacks the extreme off-road capabilities of the X1 series, managing only up to 1.4-inch obstacles and 45 percent slopes (about 24 degrees), but still offers IPX6 water resistance, geofencing, theft protection, 4G connectivity, and a future AI mapping update (with some manual setup required). Its daily coverage is up to a quarter acre (1,000 m²).

Roborock has not yet disclosed pricing for the RockMow X1 series or RockNeo Q1, but all three models are expected to launch in the US sometime in 2026, with more details to come soon. Roborock’s move into the US robotic lawn mower market is significant. The company has already disrupted the robot vacuum space, contributing to challenges for established players like iRobot, which faced intense competition and ultimately exited the market. This expansion marks the first time Roborock is officially bringing its full lawn mower lineup to American consumers, a clear signal to traditional leaders in the segment that the Chinese tech giant is coming for their turf.
