Singapore-based gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab has introduced a PC desk with an innovative cable management system. Named Magnus Metal Desk, it makes use of an innovative ecosystem of magnetic accessories and a built-in cable management tray to let users manage, hide and store cables easily. The desk is available in two sizes and comes with an interchangeable, magnetic leatherette desk mat to let users elevate the look even further.
The Magnus Metal Desk features a specially fabricated cable management system that is concealed by an easy-access rear-hinged cover. Users can use accessories like magnetic cable anchors, fastening straps, and custom-cut cable sheaths for the table legs to route and organize the cords on the desk. Moreover, the desk can be further enhanced with diffused RGB LED strips that attaches to the tabletop.
Apart from the magnetic cable management system, the magnetic desk mat crafted from plush and durable leatherette is a cool feature. It is capped with metal sleeves and features a full-coverage magnetized bottom to stay securely in place. There are three mat types to choose from according to requirement.
The Secretlab Magnus Metal Desk can be set flush against the wall. The offset gap in front of the rear-hinged cover allows dropping of the cables into the cable management tray. On the other hand, the hinge on the flip cover slides forward when open, preventing the wall from getting in the way.
Ideally positioned at a height of 29-inches, the Magnus allows users to rest their feet flat on the floor and sit in a neutral position. It also supports a small, manual height adjustment of up to 20mm (0.8”).

The steel chassis of the desk ensures sturdiness and stability while its slim profile makes it suitable for modern interiors. It can withstand up to 100kg of weight, which means it can be used for multiple monitors and more.
This desk with an innovative cable management system seems ideal for workspaces and even for work from home. The 59-inches-long version of the Secretlab Magnus Metal Desk is currently available for pre-order for $449 while the smaller, 47-inches long desk priced at $399 will be available later.
