Smeg is renowned for its retro appliances, including its one-of-a-kind stand mixers. But the Italian brand knows that evolution is the key to survival in a highly competitive industry. Without losing its signature charm, Smeg has launched the Forte Stand Mixer to offer professional-grade precision to home bakers with Italian flair, ushering in an evolution to its iconic 1950s Retro-Style lineup.

The Smeg Forte Stand Mixer is designed to provide high-end performance with a direct-drive motor, superior wattage, and advanced features, perfect for powering through dense mixtures. The impressive 750W direct-drive motor allows you to work with dense mixtures effortlessly through subtle head movement that mimics the natural motion of hand kneading.

The new stand mixer comes with a C-shape dough hook that actively pushes dough off the sides of the five-quart stainless steel bowl, so you don’t have to. You can easily prep bread, pasta, and pizza doughs with it, while the flat-edge beater works best with thick batters and mixes. The new beater follows suit by scraping the bowl’s sides for faster blending, reducing manual scraping.

Designed to provide professional efficiency in home kitchens, the Forte stand mixer features the proprietary Steady-Mix System to reduce vibrations, ensuring the die-cast aluminium machine stays firmly in place during intense mixing. The spring-loaded system supports the motor head’s weight when you open it.

The mixer comes with 10-speed adjustable controls for a smooth start function, which you can gradually increase, ensuring the ingredients don’t fly out of the bowl. It also includes an improved pouring shield, made from eco-friendly Tritan Renew, to maximize splash protection, making it easier to put new ingredients through a larger-opening spout.

The automatic lock system instantly turns off the mixer if the motor head is raised. You can scan the QR code to access My Smeg Assistant, a digital portal offering quick start guides, recipes, dough tips, and technical support.

The Forte Stand Mixer comes with five attachments to make home bakers’ lives easier: a wire whisk, flat beater, dough hook, flex edge beater, and a Tritan Renew. With elegant chrome and stainless steel accents, the sleek countertop appliance comes in Smeg’s signature palette of Cream, White, Black, Red, Pink, Pastel Blue, and Pastel Green, and is priced at $675 on the official website and $550 on Williams Sonoma.

Aside from Forte, the brand has also launched the Classico Stand Mixer with similar features. This high-end appliance has a 600W direct-drive motor, die-cast aluminum construction with a silver body and color head. It only has four essential accessories: a wire whisk, flat beater, dough hook, and Tritan Renew pouring shield. The $600 stand mixer comes in timeless shades of Cream, White, and Black. It is priced at $500 at Williams Sonoma.
