At BAU 2015, world’s leading trade fair for architecture, Samsung Staron has showcased hotel building’s ‘Solid Surfaces’ such as doors, walls and facade with unique backlit optics. Each display unit features distinct translucent natural element that slightly illuminates to enhance decor of any interior.
The illuminating hotel displays are designed by renowned architect Ursula Fuss for enhancing customer experience in public spaces like hotel rooms, public toilets and other commercial areas. Such minimalist hotel room and bathroom displays come with beautiful organic curves. For instance, bath tubs and other surroundings are designed in continuous layout without any barriers.
These latest Staron clad hotel room doors also features handle-free opening and glowing surface to amused the guests. The smart hotel doors can be opened/closed using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) key cards and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)-capable smartphones. This means in near future you’ll be able to experience smart hospitality in hotels, besides your smart home.
