Italian designer Giorgio Caporaso has created an ecological furniture design in form of an illuminating coffee table named Tappo. Now distributed by Lessmore, this sustainable coffee table doubles up as a lamp. This is because central portion of the table is outfitted with color-changing LED lighting, which can light up the environment as per your current mood.

Tappo is made from recyclable honeycomb cardboard in FSC certified wood and bamboo. Therefore, the furniture piece is lightweight and can be taken from one place to another with ease. Elegant wood species combined with colors of light form amazing translucent and glazed shelving patterns inside. The side holes on the cardboard section allow the colored light to pass through them and create magical chromatic atmosphere, combining both utility and aesthetic.

The multifunctional furniture can even charge up your electronic devices like phones, ipad, iphone without being surrounded by wires. So, this one piece of furniture can serve different purposes, providing comfortable and elegant solution to small space apartments.

It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor environment, depending on the customization and finishes you’ve chosen to give it a specific character. If you don’t want the illuminated version, you can also order it without lighting as well. But we personally like the illuminated version more, as it is capable of adding more lively touch to any home interior. You can purchase this multipurpose coffee table online for €408 (approx. US $458), and sort out your life in an outstanding way.
