Spacious tiny houses work great for larger families but for a small family of two, a tiny house on wheels with a petite structure is an ideal choice. There are many options to choose from: you can opt for Cocoa or Pathway by Modern Tiny Living or French Cahute Tiny Home, but you can easily get spoilt for choices if you’re unsure of what you want. To awe us further and confuse us deeper, is the Vaalserberg tiny house by German builder Berghaus. It is built for the road with a compact, lightweight, and easy-to-maneuver design.

Featuring clever design solutions for optimal comfort, the Vaalserberg tiny house on wheels is named after the highest hill bordering Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. This compact dwelling is designed especially for people who live on the road and is equipped to provide a self-sufficient, off-grid life thanks to its compatibility with a solar system and water reservoir.

Boasting a sleek, simple design, Vaalserberg is one of the smallest Berghaus homes and comes in three size options – 17.7 feet, 19.6 feet, and 21.6 feet. Bigger tiny houses are difficult to maneuver, but the petite home is simply hassle-free when it comes to mobility.

The abode is perfect for a single owner or a couple. It flaunts an extensive use of wood – making it look like a mountain cabin – and premium appliances to make downsizing more comfortable. The front glass door opens into the kitchen area.

A closet stands next to the front door to store clothes, coats, shoes, and other items. The bathroom is concealed behind a sliding barn door next to the closet. It features a rain shower, a washbasin with a mirror and cabinet, a floor-level toilet, and a hot water boiler and floor drain connection.

Opposite the door, the kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, oven with microwave function, and refrigerator. There are plenty of cupboards, drawers, and storage space to house cooking essentials.

Past the kitchen is the living room. A rustic fireplace stands in a corner to keep the space cozy. A sofa is placed near the fireplace, allowing you to watch TV wall-mounted high on the loft divider. Tall windows pour in the great outdoors inside while keeping the space bright and airy. Discrete floating shelves in the living room provide chic space for storing items in style.

A small foldable table is placed in this area, which can be used as a breakfast bar or workstation. From there, a ladder leads to the loft bedroom. There are generous storage solutions in the bedroom with plenty of space for putting down a king-size bed.

Vaalserberg tiny house’s ultra-tiny design is customizable to allow you to get the space that you want. The pricing for this package of freedom and flexibility starts at $57,200.

Listening to her grandmother weaving nighttime tales to penning down her own thoughts, Priya developed a penchant for stories and their origin early in her childhood. Soon she began getting lost in the world of paintings and books. After her master's in literature, she started writing copiously on diverse topics including architecture, interior design trends, and home improvement while learning the ropes of copyediting. Reading novels, painting, and baking are her favorites on her long list of hobbies. She also loves to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures, and listen to stories.
