Brushing your teeth twice a day is the best way to keep them clean. But following the same routine every day is kind of boring. The Y-Brush Halo is here to make it more interesting and quicker. With the brush, you can now analyze breath biomarkers from time to time while also cutting down on the brushing time. The ritual just takes 20 seconds to complete and makes the morning fresher and better.

The company Y-Brush unveiled the Halo brush last month at CES 2026 with a ‘SmartNose’ sensor that uses AI to detect over 300 health conditions. It is said to be a revolutionary 20-second sonic toothbrush designed to clean the entire mouth while also analyzing breath for health biomarkers. It represents a shift from just teeth cleaning to a broader, proactive, preventive health-monitoring tool.

Like the other Y-Brush models, the Halo uses a patented Y-shaped head with 35,000 soft nylon bristles and sonic vibration technology to brush all teeth in just 20 seconds, where 10 seconds are for the upper jaw and 10 for the lower one. The sensations clean the teeth effortlessly, while making the process interesting and refreshing.

The SmartNose sensor scans your breath for specific volatile organic compounds that have been linked to early diabetes, liver disorders, and gum disease. If your breath is clear, the toothbrush glows white, and if it detects a potential problem, it lights up in various colors to signify the issue, like purple for diabetes.

There is a companion app that shows the alerts and indicators in real time and is capable of sending the data directly to your dentist for further evaluation. Essentially selling for $60, the Y-Brush Halo helps kill all germs in your mouth effortlessly that would otherwise multiply and lead to infections like tooth decay and painful gum disease.
