The Australian company BRS Offroad has taken off-road camping to a whole new level with its Sherpa teardrop camping trailer. Concealing within the outer shell, a heated sleeping cabin and a mini kitchen, it is a kind of tiny traveling home for a family of four. With decent clearance, arrival and departure angles, coupled with the Cruisemaster suspension, this off-road teardrop trailer is designed to conquer any terrain. In addition, the modern design and graphics make it a stand out camping trailer, perfect for wanderlusting nomads.

There are a plenty of reasons to get hitched on to the BRS Offroad Sherpa teardrop camping trailer! The sleeping cabin opens at the push of a button and there’s a rooftop tent to comfortably accommodate kids. This camper is aerodynamic, easy to tow, and is packed with impressive features, including a 200L water bladder, 2 x 12-volt outlets, reading and cabin lights, cabin heating and fans to maintain a cozy temperature inside.

Here are some of the key features of the BRS Offroad Offroad Sherpa teardrop camping trailer which make it a good prospect for travelers:

Body

Upper body of the Sherpa teardrop trailer is made up of a composite material, coated in Raptor liner for stone protection and UV stability. As of the lower body, it is made up of double layers of 3mm marine-grade aluminum. It has a sub-chassis welded to the bottom of the base, running horizontally to the body forming a skeleton-like structure that strengthens the Sherpa chassis.

Chassis and Suspension

The chassis of the Sherpa is made up of a 150mm x 100mm x 4mm RHS centre beam that travels right through to the back, giving it adequate manoeuvrability. With this type of construction, it can pull angles past 90-degrees without coming close to getting hung up on the back of the car.

The Sherpa is equipped with Cruisemaster suspension XT, which incorporates King Springs made from X5K steel, secondary rate bump stops and in-house tuned dampers.

Quick and Easy Setup

Two persons can easily set up the teardrop trailer within two minutes. Aside from the pop-up rooftop tent, there’s also an option to flip out an awning. The DO35 coupler is perfect for this off-road machine.

Kitchen at the Back

There’s a domestic two-burner alcohol cooktop at the back for preparing food on the go. The kitchen area has two 30L domestic fridge draws to keep food and drinks cold and fresh. The pots and pans can be accessed easily with the fold-down bench. There’s also a pop down sink and a slide-out drawer to keep all the food items that don’t need to be refrigerated.

Sleeping Area and Shower

There’s 21-inch LED TV inside the main cabin of the teardrop trailer to relax after a long day of exploring new places. There’s a small window just above the main living area for stargazing in the night. This teardrop trailer has a pitch shower and a diesel water heater.

Power

The Sherpa is packed with a 125amp lithium battery by Enerdrive, paired up with a 40 amp DC-DC charger and a 40 amp AC charger. There’s also a 200-watt monocrystal solar panel at the top.
