Halloween is creeping around the block and you must be getting ready for it. Besides fancy, spooky costumes and decorating the house in ghoulish décor, the main attraction of Halloween are the cuisines and sweet treats. There are countless recipes for Halloween sweet treats, but the recipe for the blood spatter Oreo cookies might be the easiest of them all.

There are only two ingredients that you need to prepare the blood spatter Oreo cookies – original Oreo cookies and red cookie icing.

Arrange the cookies on a baking rack and use a food brush to flick and drip red cookie icing on the cookies to induce the effect of splattered blood. The baking rack would allow the excess of icing to simply drip down. Let the cookies dry nicely for about an hour and they will be ready to be served.
