Halloween is almost here and people are busy shopping, decorating their homes and gardens. Amid celebrations, one Omairis Taylor took to Facebook to inform she would be using a blue bucket when she goes out trick-or-treating with her 3-year-old kid.

In her post, she explained that her three-year-old son has autism and he is nonverbal. She detailed, last year she had to elaborate his condition to people handing out candies as they waited for him to say ‘trick-or-treat’.

Her message was widely loved and shared on the social media platform.

It is not the first that a parent has tried a blue bucket to signify that their kid has autism. Since last year the blue Halloween buckets have become an unofficial symbol to indicate the condition.

It all started when a woman posted that her 21-year-old son, suffering from autism, will go out trick-or-treating with a blue bucket to make people understand his autistic condition.

If you are approached by kid at your doorstep with a blue Halloween bucket (or any candy bag or bucket for that matter), just hand out the candies with a smile. Happy Halloween!
