Metaverse allows us to toil with virtual cars, boats, and even own art NFTs. But a chair or a table NFT to furnish our living room in the metaverse is freakin’ exciting. Sebastien Baert is a name you probably haven’t heard much about, but the French designer is garnering a lot of attention for his recent Rêveries theme, which features a range of four collections of eight ultra-luxury collectibles furniture for both virtual and real worlds.

The French product designer’s expertise in 3D visualization and his latest NFT collection of luxury furniture allow you to rejoice in the best of both worlds. Baert’s design firm presents the next generation of furniture for the metaverse and as the studio notes, every piece of the collection would be auctioned virtually and some of it is even going to be produced in the real world.

Dubbed Rêveries, the Le Champ, La Prairie, Le Lagon and Le Desert collection comprises chairs, tables, sofas, and stools. What makes the ultra-luxury furniture collection so special is its warm color and rounded shape. The great color composition and the perfect symmetry make the chairs and tables look absolutely gold. In case, you choose to place your bet on it, you become the owner of the furniture in your physical world (only if it is produced) as well as in the metaverse.

To be brutally honest with you, it looks all gold but in actuality, it’s all fluff. It is plain and dull at the moment and we might have to wait a little more to get a clear hang of what the Rêveries will actually hatch when it does.
