Measuring just 5.4 meters long and 2.55 meters wide, this relatively compact tiny house offers everything you need to live comfortably. Despite its small size, the tiny house Ericeira packs a big punch in terms of functionality and sustainability, thus presenting itself as an ideal living solution for those who value freedom and flexibility.

Tiny house Ericeria is designed in Portugal where living small and sustainably is the new way of life. While it’s the more recognized Madeiguincho that stands on the pinnacle of lifestyle alteration in the country, some other names are joining in to further the momentum. In that league is the Portuguese design-practice Tinylar, the brain behind the Ericeira – a stunning example of a tiny house on wheels.

One of the most striking features of the Ericeira – and perhaps of all sustainably conceived Madeiguincho tiny homes as well – is the use of wood in its construction. This is because the Mediterranean region is known for employing wood as a structural element.

Tinylar takes it a step further by using wood in both decorative and exterior applications of the Ericeria. The cladding of the tiny house is made of Lunawood Thermowood, a thermally modified sustainable wood that is perfect for the Mediterranean climate.

Inside the Ericeira, you’ll find beautiful living spaces for up to four people. The loft bedroom features a bed-sized skylight that lets in plenty of natural light. The living room is convertible into a dining room and the sofa bed allows the section to be used as a guest room. The integrated kitchen makes cooking and meal prep a breeze. The bathroom with shower is conveniently cordoned off at one end. On the outside of the bathroom is a storage section for water tanks and equipment.

And that’s not all! The Ericeira, owing to its lightweight design, is perfect mobile home with a removable modular wooden platform that can be set up as an outdoor terrace when the tiny house is stationed in your place of choice. If you think the tiny house should not limit your days in the wilderness and should allow to live sustainably and independently, the Tinylar’s Ericeira can be prepared for off-the-grid adventures with optional solar panels.

Whether you’re looking to downsize or simply want to live more sustainably, Tinylar’s tiny houses can be used for a variety of purposes. It can be your holiday home or used as an office space. Irrespective of how you choose to use it, the stunning design and sustainable features of the Ericeira will make a statement wherever you take it.
