Pre-eminent for its terrain, lush mountains, scenic hiking trails, and gorgeous views, Vermont is one place that should definitely be on your checklist if you ever plan to travel to the US. In recent years, Vermont is on the peak of popularity, courtesy of tiny houses that are being made in the state. I stumbled upon one such micro dwelling and decided to cover it because I know the taste you’ve developed as a reader for elegant mobile habitats.

Measuring 24 feet long, the tiny house is dubbed Driftwood. I am not totally sure whether the name has something to do with the floating wood, nor is it clarified on the maker’s website. Nevertheless, the exterior is akin to Shou Sugi Ban finish though with a half-burnt aesthetic. Built on a double-axle trailer, the mobile habitat boasts a rustic exterior while Douglas fir timbers add charm to the interior.

Stout and gorgeous, the tiny house features a sliding glass door and a number of windows to allow light and air to penetrate inside. The interior is not clearly picturized, but I can see it includes a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a loft for sleeping.

Lovely oak flooring creates an inviting space that would feature a living room. Adjacent is the kitchen, which is equipped with all the necessities from cabinets to counters.

To those wondering why there is no equipment, I believe it’s just the shell model at the moment, and it is up to the user to customize it accordingly. Speaking of customization, I can spot a loft that will most probably be accessible by a custom ladder.

Other features include ceramic tiled floors in the entry and the bathroom and a custom mahogany wood shower with a glass door. For price-related queries about the Driftwood tiny house, hop on to Guest Tiny Homes.
