Rewild Homes, the firm behind the Ptarmigan and Garry Oak tiny house, has delivered a fully off-grid home to a remote island in Vancouver. Dubbed Shearwater tiny house, the towable dwelling stands out from the crowd thanks to its unique design and off-grid capabilities. Featuring an exterior that holds symbolism with Shearwater, a medium-sized long-winged seabird, the tiny house is one of the most gorgeous abodes you would come across on the internet.

Featuring a full solar panel with battery system, rainwater collection with storage, and filtration, the 24-feet tiny house seems to be tailor-made for remote locations. Built on a double-axle trailer, the micro dwelling exhibits a wooden exterior with aluminum siding while the interior comes equipped with top-class furnishings.

Inside, the home features a generous living room, a highly organized kitchen, a cozy loft bedroom, and a secondary cantilevered loft. Dual lofts generally sleep four people in total, but with a cantilevered design, the Shearwater manages to equip an additional person in its secondary loft. Access to these lofts is gained via a storage-integrated staircase and a ladder each located in the main-floor area.

Downstairs is the living room of the tiny house. Though it looks deserted in the pictures, but the living room can easily be equipped with a sofa and a coffee table. The tiny house also features a kitchen with full-size appliances, including a fridge, microwave, and a propane-powered range cooker.

The Sharwater tiny house kitchen also features a fold-up countertop extension that doubles as a working space, a sink with a faucet, and loads of cabinets to house groceries.  The kitchen leads to a bathroom. Accessed via a sliding door, the section has a shower, sink with vanity washer/dryer, and a toilet.
