The endless demand for tiny houses has led many companies to build dwellings with functional living spaces that cater to customers’ ever-evolving needs. Australian Highlands Tiny Homes is known for its custom builds that offer the amenities of a regular home while accommodating the dwellers’ needs. Its single-level Cali tiny house is an exquisite build ideal for two people. Cali tiny house is draped in Californian bungalow charm and sun-bathed spaces.

This tiny house is 31 feet long and built on a triple-axel trailer. Its exterior features ecogroove boards, colorbond standing seam panels, and corrugated pitched roofing. The big windows and large sliding glass door allow natural light inside. The gable roof profile gives the house a traditional bungalow aesthetic.

The Cali tiny house has a high-pitched ceiling, water-resistant wood grain laminate flooring, and an open-plan layout with an unobstructed indoor-outdoor connection. It features a generous living area, a kitchen, a bathroom with storage above, a bedroom, and two entrances.

The main entrance opens into the living area with a sofa, an ottoman, and a side table. The space encompasses windows that fill the space with natural light. Adjacent is a peninsula-style kitchen with an island bench, perfect for two people to dine. A countertop with a sink, cabinets, and shelves make up the workspace. The Cali also includes appliances such as a refrigerator, a cooktop, a microwave, and a range hood.

On the opposite side of the living area is a bathroom with a washer-dryer unit, a toilet, a shower, and a vanity sink stacked with storage. For privacy, the bathroom is separated by cavity sliders on either side of the space allowing access from the bedroom and the living area. The storage loft above the bathroom is accessed via a custom-built ladder in the living area.
