A case in point is the ZW186Pro, an intelligent portable shower machine by Zuowei Technology designed to assist differently abled individuals. A common challenge for those who are bedridden or elderly is the difficulty of getting out of bed and taking a shower. While we deeply care for loved ones in such situations, this doesn’t undermine the fact that taking them to the bathroom remains a hassle.
To make bathing simpler for bedridden and disabled people, Zuowei Technology has designed a portable bed shower that offers an enjoyable bathing experience in the comforts of a bedroom. The machine features ‘intelligent water flow control’ and ‘Nano Cleaning’ technologies that simplify the bathing process. To help in this, the ZW186Pro comes with two specially designed shower roses: Sponge Shower Rose and Silicone Shower Rose.
The Sponge Shower Rose is best suited for body cleaning with soft sponge material gently scrubbing the skin, ensuring thorough cleansing and comfort. The Silicone Shower Rose caters to cleaning hair offering a gentle and effective rinse. Another standout feature of the ZW186Pro is the easy-to-use water outlet control button. This thoughtful design minimizes mess while sending the dirty water to the sewage tank.
While we haven’t seen the product first-hand, the company claims the product to be easy to use. “Caregivers can hold the shower rose close to the patient’s skin and press the button to release water slowly. To avoid water dripping or leaking, simply release the button before removing the shower rose from the skin”, states the company.
The machine is not only meant for the aged or disabled, it can be used by people who are bedridden or recovering from surgery. Ideal for home, hospital, and community service centers, the ZW186Pro offers a simple yet effective way to maintain hygiene without the need for traditional bathing.

The ZW186Pro machine features a USB port and a DC input port that allow for flexible charging options and easy maintenance. There is no word on the official release date or price of the machine; we expect to learn more details on its unveiling at CES 2025.
