All-electric travel trailers are in their infancy and in the struggle to set wheels on the campground. California-based Pebble is slightly ahead of the curve in the race. It gave us a first glimpse of the Flow – an all-electric trailer it has been working on – in 2023. Not much was revealed about its features and planning all this while, until now when Pebble took wraps off of a production-intent model of the Flow electric travel trailer at CES, it hopes to begin shipping in 2025.

In an announcement at the ongoing tech event in Las Vegas, Pebble informed Flow is available for pre-booking, and will be assembled and delivered in the first half of 2025. This announcement marks a significant milestone in the story of all-electric travel trailers that promise to return the serene silence of nature to the campgrounds.

Priced starting at $109,500 (going up to $135,500 with Magic Pack features), the final design of the Pebble Flow is different from the initial prototype seen a couple of years back. The interior is reworked, and the exterior and drivetrain have been re-engineered to keep up with the changing trends in the travel camper industry. Pebble will release the fully loaded Founders Editions Flow in limited-edition colors for $175,000.

The Flow is now powered by a 45 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery resting on the floor of the vehicle. It is constantly recharged by 1.1 kW rooftop solar panels and through regenerative braking that kicks in during towing. The alternative energy sources ensure the battery can run HVAC, lighting, shower, and anything else that would require power, for up to seven days.

As seen in the Pebble Flow demo video, the trailer is integrated with a full kitchen comprising a convection oven, induction stove, microwave, fridge, sink, and cabinets for storage. Alongside is a dinette which transforms into a bed. The main bedroom, furnished with a queen-size Murphy bed that retracts into the wall, is at the end of the trailer. The bathroom is placed in the middle of the layout and is separated from the interior by a glass wall.

The 25-foot EV camper weighs 5,800 pounds and is equipped with an active tow assist – Magic Pack – that on the push of a button permits automatic positioning and hitching of the trailer to the tow vehicle. Another feature, dubbed InstaCamp, allows the trailer to automatically retract stairs and stabilizers to level itself when parked on an uneven surface.

If you are not satisfied with how it’s parked; using the Pebble app and Nvidia Drive Orin – an AI-assisted driving platform – you can maneuver Pebble Flow like an RC car into the perfect position using your phone. Now that’s a convenient, environmentally-friendly future of glamping!
