Today, renting an apartment will cost you an arm and a leg. Leasing or buying a house isn’t a very financially wise option either. Luckily, the tiny house industry is brimming with affordable options. There could be myriad reasons to choose to live in a tiny house, primarily to reduce environmental impact or gain more freedom. Oregon’s Tru Form Tiny is a master builder adept at creating micro-dwellings that combine rugged durability with modern design to elevate small-space, affordable living. The company’s Terra Urban tiny house is the prime example of this.

The Terra Urban Series is a lineup of homes that feature modern elements that enhance your downsizing living experience. Each micro-dwelling in the series is designed to offer the delicate balance of affordability and comfortable living. First in what can only be expected to be a long series, the Terra Urban tiny house takes on a refreshing turn in a compact footprint.

It measures 26 feet long and 8.5 feet wide. The exterior features a glass entrance, providing access to the open-floor layout. The door opens into the living space, which features a fireplace, lime wash wall, a couch, a coffee table, an elevator bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The kitchen of the Terra Urban is sleek and sophisticated. It is equipped with smart storage and modern appliances. The kitchen includes a generous countertop, an induction cooktop, an oven, a range hood, and a dishwasher for seamless cooking and cleaning. There are plenty of under-counter cabinets to store essentials.

On the opposite side, a storage-integrated staircase leads to the loft bedroom. A refrigerator and a closet are tucked away neatly under the stairs. Past the kitchen, there is a bathroom. It has a shower, a flush toilet, two windows, and a bump-out to fit a vanity sink.

Overhead, the loft bedroom comes with a standing landing, a closet, and a queen-size bed. The vaulted ceilings throughout create an open, airy feel that makes the home feel more spacious than it actually is.

Given its comparatively compact configurations, the Terra Urban tiny house makes incredible use of space and offers covetable amenities. Priced at $89,000, the micro-dwelling can be made into a fully off-grid living option to make it ideal for remote locations or sustainable lifestyles.
